Entry Requirements

Minimum age requirement: 16 years or older. No formal qualifications are necessary.

How long will it take?

Total Qualification Time (TQT): 30 hours, including 21 hours of guided learning (GL).

Topics Covered

Includes legislation, health and safety management system benefits, risk assessments, hazards, and risk control methods.

Assessment Method

Assessment is via a 60-question multiple-choice exam over 120 minutes. A minimum score of 40/60 is required to pass. Learners achieving 50+ will receive a Merit.

ID Requirements

Learners must present valid photo identification before assessment. Acceptable forms include:

• Passport (any nationality)
• UK photocard driving licence
• Warrant card (HM Forces/police)
• Employee, student or travel ID card

Alternative ID may be accepted at our discretion (e.g., signed credit card or employer confirmation).
